FENDER-SHAPED OBJECTS

The unbeatable classics, reimagined in Whippet style.

PRecision

The original and greatest, nothing - and I mean nothing - beats the classic woody thump of the P-Bass with flats. Probably my favourite intstrument to play, it’s a veteran of many gigs from community festivals, funk, country and rock, always brings the soul. I’m immensely proud of this thing.

fretless jazz

Every bass player needs a fretless instrument in their arsenal, this gorgeous ghost-white instrument brings that unmistakable “mmmwwaah!” to the stage. Classic J-bass styling with a transparent white finish, set off with a black floral pickguard, it’s a thing of beauty and timeless style. Fretboard is stunning Burdekin Plum, a unique Queensland hardwood very similar in look, sound and feel to the classic Brazilian Rosewoods so prized in vintage instruments.
